don't rain pls!
rain rain go away, u're taking all my outdoor activities away!

was supposed to go swim with kq and joy in the evening but the rain persisted and threatened. true enough, it rained heavier! Gym was our backup plan but the rain just spoilt our moods to do anything. So, sulwyn stayed home and went downstairs for dinner with parents. I was complaining to kq that there's nothing exciting to eat downstairs cos i eat it everyday. My mum's cooking is still my all-time fav. Anyways, kq replied with much wisdom," it's the time that u spend with them" words of wisdom! haha. it was a good reminder...and guess what? a special thing happened over dinner.

when i got downstairs, i was 5 mins late cos i was caught up by work at home.

Dad nags: "next time if u cannot come down in time must tell daddy. at least tell ppl that u cannot make it down in time. next time u go out to work how? make people wait for you ah?"

I say:"huh, but i was doing work at home lah. have to do finish first what. working is different. next time when I work, I wait for people only."

Dad:"but you're late"

I say in defense:"my watch and your watch timing different what. u think everybody's watch the same time meh?"

Dad sighs and laughs:"next time you tell your boss this. then you come back and tell me the story"

Me:"haha. yah, I will tell him."

Okay, obviously I was joking lah! But, I realised how stubborn and how much I wanted to be 'right' with my parents. heh. looking at this funny incident...I realised that I really like to make my parents laugh too.
it's special, cos its not always i can have such conversations with my father. like this.

everything else fades away...when u focus on Jesus.
